UA Herbarium

In historic Herring Hall

The University of Arizona Herbarium serves as our region's central resource for plant biodiversity. Established in 1890, our collection now holds nearly 450,000 plant specimens, we provide a variety of services, and we host regular events.

Check out our recent news, contact us by phone or email, visit us in person, sign up for our newsletter, and help us celebrate our amazing natural environment, here in the Sonoran Desert!

We work in close collaboration with the Robert L. Gilbertson Mycological Herbarium, our region's central resource for fungal biodiversity.
