We have a broad array of printed materials. We hold two collections in Herring Hall: (1) the University of Arizona Library's botanical material, and (2) our own collection of books and journals, collected over many decades – and continuing to grow.
Our own library includes historic and recent floras from our region and around the world, books on uses of plants, systematic monographs, scientific journals important to our field, and more. All material is available for use in the Herbarium, and we have a photocopier. For some titles, we can help visitors arrange for online delivery through the UA Library.
During 2024, we are partnering with the UA Library to post our books through their system, so everything we hold will be easily searchable in one place.
