Where

Botany of the long-horned woodboring beetles

Dr. Cicero had spent many years studying the wood boring beetles in the field- their host plants, behavior and other ecology- as well as how to raise them, before he diverted his attention to fireflies. Included in the suite of woodboring beetles here in the southwest are the "longhorns', which are elegant and handsome beetles with long-to-extremely-long antennae. They too are botanists because they co-evolved with their host plants, and will therefore make a good theme for today's seminar for all the botanists among you.
